On many systems, MacAMP crashes when WhiteCap exits from fullscreen mode, and I've also gotten reports of just a black screen during fullscreen mode. Because I've spent on the order of months looking for a cause for this problem within WhiteCap, I'm convinced the problem is not within WhiteCap. Further, no such problems or strange crashes have been reported in the Winamp or SoundJam versions of WhiteCap. Because @soft's future is unclear at this point, the developers of MacAMP have yet attempted to fix this crash problem. Like you, they have a copy of the source code so it's up to them to locate the problem. An email of encouragement to them will let them know you want action.
